Room Hire FAQs
To hire the concert room it is £50. This includes having the bar open and a cleaning fee.
Absolutely, we have had several weddings at the Sports & Social Club. Unlike other venues it has all the essentials for a wedding venue, in the same room! It includes a dance floor, for your first dance, a large bar to make sure everyone has a drink to toast the happy couple and a stage for a band or disco, to keep you dancing the night away.
We also have soft play to hire if you have little ones attending.
It can hold 150 people seated.
We have hosted a wide range of events here at the Sports and Social Club. From Live Music, Bingo Nights, Quiz Nights, Dominoe Drives, Children's Parties, Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Funerals, Educational Learning, Movie Nights, World Cup Games, Flower Shows, Charity Nights & even a work conference.
The list is endless.
Its perfect as it has a kitchen with facilities for teas, coffees and even preparing food. A bar, (upstairs & downstairs if needed) toilets, stage, dance floor, a large number of chairs and tables which are easy to move around plus soft play hire too.
So whether you're planning a special occasion, wanting to hold a fundraiser or looking to do some staff training we are here to help.

The function room plays host to all of our private parties, where children do not have a set time to leave.
However, in the Sports Bar children under 18 do need to vacate the premises by 9:00pm.
Unfortunately we don't provide catering but we have small kitchen facilities available.
We also have some local catering contacts available, please do not hesitate to ask!
Yes, we've had all kinds of bouncy castles. Ranging from Princess to Super Hero to ones with ball bits and slides. We have some great contacts too, please do not hesitate to ask!
Absolutely, we don't have our own resident disco however we have some great contacts who are regulars at events if needed!
Yes, we do hire the soft play out for on site use/bookings, please mention this when booking for an accurate quote.
